Lonely In Gorgeous Beauty is a heartfelt venture created by me, Raz, and my sibling, Ellis. Working a desk job left me feeling unfulfilled and missing being creative. For Ellis, they were looking to create a workspace that catered to their autism needs. We were waiting in line at Melbourne airport when I asked Ellis, “should I do a nail course?”. They replied, “If you do nails and I do makeup and waxing, we can start a beauty studio together”. And that’s where it all began. 

Our Richmond based studio feels like walking into our bedroom - the walls are covered with anime art from local Australian artists, the shelves are stocked with Miku and Popmart figures and if you look close enough, you’ll see Ellis’ ever-growing Vash (from hit anime Trigun) shrine. We want to make our space feel as welcoming, safe and inclusive as possible. 

When we’re not working, you can probably find me trying (and failing) to romance Astarion. Ellis is probably working on a craft project (most likely another Vash sculpture) whilst watching a CDawgVA playthrough of Final Fantasy.
